We, at the British Way English Academy, believe that every student has unlimited potential for growth and personal development. This ability is fully respected and utilized by our highly qualified team who has mastered the art of language teaching. Language is taught in a unique way in own assessment-driven immersion programme where we instill valuable life skills to the student. This innovative teaching method has been extremely popular and proven to take the learning process to greater proportions, preparing the students to face the world with confidence. We train our students in how to face interviews, table etiquette, leadership, public speech etc.; all coming in a bundle, ensuring success to realize their dreams. As a consequence, our educational programs have gained widespread respect and validity and there is a high value attached to our certificates from the corporate world. Our ever-increasing customer base, both the student and the parent, love this. Whenever we open a new branch, it is they who make it an instant success now.
Working to a set plan, identifying the huge and basic need for the English language proficiency among our youth who are mostly rural-based and designing innovative learning programs to suit them, is the secret of our success. Bringing out the enormous hidden Sri Lankan talent this way has brought us to the forefront as being the first to provide total immersion programs mentioned above. As a result, BWEA is now the largest English Training Academy in Sri Lanka with 16 branches island-wide. We now hold 80% of the market share in the industry and keep expanding. World has opened for us with the following recognitions;
Being an ISO 9001-2008 certified company, we have been award-winners as the best English academy of the world at the 7th World Scientific Congress (2016) held at the UNO head office in Geneva, Switzerland, winners of SLIM brand excellence 2017 and consecutive winners of “MASSCO Awards” in 2016, 2017,2018 and 2019.
We are strengthened by our affiliations with IELTS, Educational Testing Service USA (ETS®), developers and the owners of TOEIC®. Next, we have joined hands with Thames College and British Campus, both internationally accredited institutions, to provide higher studies in other fields. Our first overseas branch is set to be opened in Vietnam in 2020.
Our victory of the merit award at National Awards by the National Chamber of Commerce 2018 is another pride we have to push us forward.
